| PGSR-2i ‘Beagle’ is capable of intercepting, detecting and recognizing targets at an extended range and in a whole spectrum of 360° and can also classify and differentiate such targets based on size and movement characteristics. The operation of the PGSR-2 ‘Beagle’ radar unit and the processing and evaluating of the radar signals is controlled from an accessory operator unit via PPE’s unique Adaptive Area Control Software (AACS-4). The software not only offers an enhanced accuracy in recognizing, tracking and classifying acquired targets but also allows the radar to adapt to the topographic and stationary features of the secured area, further increasing the accuracy and speed of detection by prioritizing signals. The AACS-4 software presents an easy to operate user interface, offering the possibility of multi-tasking and educated decision-making to the operator. The radar can be set-up, readied and rendered operable in five minutes and is easy to maintain and operate, with minimal need for special training. The AACS-4 software also enables the radar to be integrated within PPE’s complex security and surveillance systems as well as other systems, if needed. |
