Further advancing on the defense and surveillance field, PPE also developed its Mobile Ground Surveillance and Security Systems (named the MGS3 ‘Scout’) vehicles. Another successful project of PPE is the development and manufacture of its Microwave Level Gauge (MLG) tool - a low cost microwave pulse radar unit, measuring the exact level and amount of liquids in tanks or other storage facilities, able to function even in highly unfriendly environments (with acids, corrosive or inflammable liquid materials). Other PPE projects include various topics such as the creation of a high-intensity Doppler radar to measure muzzle velocity as well as the development and implementation of a Digital Audio Information System for the Hungarian Railways.
Established in Budapest in the heart of Europe, PPE now is the most dynamic Hungarian private company on the defense and security market. PPE invested more than USD 5 million in pure R&D and cooperates on a daily bases with universities and international hi-tech companies.
